Bourgeois

The viewing of Louise Bourgeois’ art presented at the Tate Modern Gallery in London, left Tiffany Rowe quite speechless and has a great impact on her latest collection of jewellery: the Bourgeois series. The Cumul sculpture by Bourgeois particularly caught Tiffany’s attention: a giant slab of smooth marble out of which rounded shapes emerge seems to both attract and slightly bemuse on lookers. Working with resin, lacquer and gold leaf, Tiffany wanted to thus create an unusual collection, based on interesting shapes that resemble strange fruit or crystalline formations, in homage to the artist she so much likes. Each piece is individually moulded by hand in polymer resin and Tiffany enjoys embellishing the miniature sculptures with metallic powders, watch pieces and sometimes even poppy seeds! A beautiful, highly original collection this is, sure to arouse curiosity and admiration.
